Another great book in the series and it is getting more intense! What can I say? This entire series has a way of grabbing a hold of you... I read it years ago and picked it back up recently and once again can't stop until I finish reading it. The twists and turns continue to be gut wrenching, and every time you think you have something/someone figured out, something happens that changes everything.

There's a part of me that wants to grab Ivy and tell her to stop making some of the decisions she is making (because they seem to be making things worse), but... everything happens for a reason.

On to the next one!

I find it difficult to review the individual books in the series, especially as it appears the story line and character development continues from book to book, almost as if one long book was split into 5 books. This is written well and it's not your garden variety instant gratification YA-books.

There are some questions after reading each book, but you'll get the answers in the next one (or the one after that). Admittedly, the characters can be slightly irritating when wrestling with their personal issues, but never are they two dimensional twits.
Holy cow! I started this series 3 days ago. Yes 3 and I just finished book #4. They are addictive. I feel like I have a bit of the Valefor blood lust going on. I can't read them fast enough. This book is intense and I am so torn. I love Collin, I Love Ivy, and Eric. Read this series!
Great installment to the this Y.A. series. The characters have layers and are not flat. You get pulled into the story and want to know what will happen. Demon Kissed is a great Series. I am glad that I found this one by H.M. Ward!
Each story gets better and better. I couldn't put this down. The mistery is yet unsolved, and gussing won't help. I must continue to find out what will happen.
Now that Ivy has poison in her body she is not able to do some of things she could before without it harming her. Those around her are dying and betraying her. Will she find the stone in time to save her life and will it really help her? Thanks to some angels helping her she has a little more luck but it is still a very hard struggle for her.
Wow. I literally read this entire book in one sitting (if you don't count getting up to have dinner). Satan's Stone is the 4th book in the Demon Kissed series, and they are only getting better.

One of my favorite characteristics of the Demon Kissed series in the last 3 books was their ability to completely blindside me, and Satan's Stone kept up the trend. I absolutely loved the fact that one minute I was sure beyond a doubt about something, and the next I would be proven completely wrong with some fun new plot twist. The story continues to be excitingly original and unpredictable.

Prehaps even a little more than the other Demon Kissed books, Satan's Stone has a dark side that I absolutely revere. I've had my fill of books bursting with fluff and rainbows a few examples being supernatural guys who leave because they're "afraid of hurting" people, no main characters ever getting hurt (very unrealistic), and vampires suitable for PETA. Satan's Stone makes my heart race with everything from the heartless demons, to the black magic, to the edge-of-death experiences that are an all too common experience for the characters.

The one and only complaint I have for Satan's Stone is a small one. As she did in some of the previous books, the main character Ivy continues to lie and hide things from the people that care about her and it does get to be a little irritating. Other than that, Ivy continues to be the refreshingly strong and powerful heroine that I love.

Satan's Stone was an amazing addition to the Demon Kissed series and I enjoyed it thoroughly. If you haven't read the first 3 books, I highly recommend that you do! I am dying to read the next book, which comes out in March.
Fabulous book, amazing, a terrific read. Too good to miss, can't put it down. Get the idea - this is a great series and this book was no different to the rest. It's a must read. Only negative is that I hope it finishes in the next book or it would be drawing out the climax to far in my opinion. Would highly recommend this book. Happy reading.
