Evie was introduced in the first book Hammer's Fall she is Hammer's cousin. Evie is smart, beautiful , sassy with a heart of gold.
Daryk "Dare" Nyght is a trauma surgeon and one of Hammer's best friends. Hammer talks Dare into coming to Breaker's for some much needed rest and relaxation. Evie and Dare's eyes met.......and well let the journey begin.
I loved this story it was heart warming, sweet, steamy hot. I laughed, I cried, then laughed some more then one scene had me yelling at my kindle (good thing I work alone *wink*). I was also very happy to see the whole gang again. This was a beautiful journey of two people finding their heart's desire each other.....*happy sigh*.
I have read all of this authors works and have not been disappointed. I know I have posted this in several of my reviews but it is the truth Laurie Roma you ROCK!!! Thank you and I can't wait for the next release whether it is BBB, 3013, IAD or the Arcadians.

Love dares and eves story. He is a strong ex soldier who has been through a lot. She is an independent woman who runs a rescue center for neglected and abused dogs. It is a wonderful love story shows what they really go through to get to the end they both want. Shows also that no matter how scary some bikers look you don't know who they really are.
If you have not read any of Laurie Romas Books you are missing out she writes about strong women who over came hard times and Falk for men who live life and fight for what's right You have to pick up her books they are All Must reads I have them all and I can't wait for MORE MORE MORE keep up the good work I will always buy what ever you put out but I especially love This series More Please don't miss out on a book that makes you laugh love and tinkle in all the right spots Well DONE again.xoxox much love to you keep up the good work
Dare and Evie have such an intense attraction. Evie is such a good person and does all these great things. Dare is coming back from a mission and trying to decide what to do with his life. I loved the rescue center and everything Evie was doing to help the dogs. Evie asks Dare to have a young boy help him at the rescue center. In the end, the young boy and Dare help each other. This was a really good book, but it was emotional at times for me.
Dare & Eve's story is a bit more intense than Jared & Kali's, in that they are both super intense personalities & they clash a bit. LOL This is a great story, too! I really enjoyed the interaction between these two, and also between them and their friends & the town. And there are rescued dogs!! Quick & enjoyable read for sure. There ARE some pretty intense editing issues, however, so if that bothers you like it does me, just be prepared. It's annoying, but the story is worth it! )
This is the second book to this series and it was way better than the first book. Even though I loved Hammer, Nyght stole my heart. This book has everything you could want in a story. Passion - Laughter - Love - Hope - Pain - Tragedy - Ok lets not forget the "HOLY HECK" Hotness that is Nyght. As I have read many reviews on I know that some will tell you about some of the misspelled words but we will just ignore them and enjoy Night and Eve's story. I am really hoping that Dante's story is next. Once again Ms. Roma creates a story that pulls you in and makes you smile.
WOW, I was waiting not so patiently for the second book in this series and I wasn't disappointed. Dare had PTSD from having to take a life when his whole life was dedicated to saving lives. He also suffered because of the horrible situations that he went thru as a trauma surgeon based within a Special OPS unit. Evie had her own trauma due to a horrible family occurrence when she was young. The town of Breakers really came to life. You get to see some familiar faces like Zoe, Dante, Mate and his brother Shane etc. You also get some info on Nikita and why she is the tough woman she is now. I really hope the next story belongs to Dante and Zoe. Laurie Roma has done it again.
It's always fun to find a new author to enjoy! This second in the BBB series was just as good as the first book. Both leads were very likeable, the secondary characters were fabulous, and the storyline flowed smoothly with easily solved conflicts.

I'm subtracting a half star, though, because I came across 30+ grammar-type errors. None of them were significant to the story or the meaning of a sentence, just small things like using the wrong tense, the wrong spelling for sound-alike words, or leaving out or adding in extra words incorrectly. These errors should have been proof-read out before publishing ... and I'm disappointed they weren't.

I still recommend this story if you enjoy a good storyline with some delicious intimate scenes, a H who's a little, I mean a lot, rough around the edges and a sweet and mature h. Both are beautiful, inside and out, if a little broken by their life experiences. Which is a great segue to the beautiful cover ... WOUZA! ... that is a scrumptious match to Evie's description of Daryk. Love when the cover art actually depicts a physical likeness to the character in the book, even down to the tats. Now I guess it's time to admit that I stopped reading several, ok - lots of, times to 'refresh my memory' LOL!
